MLK Day of Service

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. lived his life serving others. Following his example, millions of Americans serve on Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service. In our community lending a hand to help our neighbors – we join Dr. King as drum majors for justice, peace, and righteousness.

This year, make MLK Day a day on, not a day off, by volunteering! United Way of Northwest Michigan and Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce are #United4MLKDAY and invite you to participate in this year’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service. Grab your co-workers, family, friends, and register to volunteer. It is easy, to get started, choose a service project, note the number of volunteers, your host site, time and please join us on #UNITED4MLKDAY!
