HANDY WITH A HAMMER?
Our Tuesday Toolmen are a small group of volunteers that work to help keep seniors and families safe in their homes. The Tuesday Toolmen focus on home safety repairs for low-income neighbors. These repairs may include installing smoke detectors, working on minor plumbing, installing grab bars and handrails, weatherization, and more.
Tuesday Toolmen are able to complete jobs thanks to grants from the TransCanada and Chemical Bank. This grant allows our volunteers to purchase materials for clients so instead of focusing on a repair, they can focus on what’s really important.
