2009 Grant Recipients
United Way of Northwest Michigan makes grants to the most cost effective community programs and organizations that best align with our grant goals and geographic footprint. A broad group of diverse community volunteers determines what grants should be made after reviewing proposals, interviewing applicants and weighing overall community needs. We then monitor results to insure donor funds are spent as promised and are making a difference.
